Our approach to Corporate Responsibility

For Whitbread, Corporate Responsibility is all about our relationships with our various stakeholders - employees, shareholders, suppliers, customers and the communities in which we do business. It is integral to our business behaviour and to our commitment to treat every stakeholder with respect, and in a fair, open and honest way.

We believe business has a role to play in creating a healthy community to trade in and that being a good corporate citizen is an essential ingredient to achieving a successful and sustainable business.

For us, Corporate Responsibility embraces six key areas:
