Welcome to the third edition of Key Skills in Context

Major employers have once again sponsored the resource. Prudential has supported each of the Key Skills in Context editions, whilst Whitbread and PricewaterhouseCoopers have been involved for the first time. These three varied contexts have together provided a new and exciting range of source materials and activities to be discovered and explored.

The continued participation of key employers in the production of this resource highlights the importance employers place on key skills and provides a wealth of material, as well as showing what can be achieved through maximising the links between education and employment. We hope the blend of practical activities, key skills opportunities and wide ranging source material will once again help staff and students to continue to develop all six key skills ‘in context’.
